LIGHTHOUSE - Lyrics and music by Joel
Smoker
V1. The road is rough and rocky,
And it’s
hard to find my way.
I need a
light to light my footsteps,
Turn my
night into day.
Let the
light from your lighthouse shine on me.
Let it
shine, Oh let it shine, so I can see.
V2. The pathways are many,
Leading
down to the sea.
I need to
make the right connection,
If I want
to be free.
Let the
light from your lighthouse shine on me.
Let it
shine, Oh let it shine, so I can see.
V3. Time is
running short,
And there’s
much for me to do.
I don’t
need no one’s deception,
I need to
know what is true.
Let the
light from your lighthouse shine on me.
Let it
shine, Oh let it shine, so I can see.
V4. The
universe is vast,
And I feel
so small.
I need to
make sense of the journey,
To make
sure I don’t fall.
Let the
light from your lighthouse shine on me.
Let it
shine, Oh let it shine, so I can see.
REDEMPTION TRAIN - Lyrics and music by Joel Smoker
I’m gonna leave behind all the trouble and pain.
I don’t care what people may say,
It doesn’t matter any-way.
When you riding, riding the Redemption Train.
V1. I climbed on board this
train,
One dark and lonely night,
I was reaching, reaching for the light.
I got down on my knees,
And I confessed my sins,
It was just like being born a-gain.
I’m leaving behind all the trouble and pain.
I don’t care what people may say,
It doesn’t matter any-way.
‘Cause I’m riding, riding the Redemption Train.
V2. If you climb aboard this
train,
It ain’t no easy ride,
You’ve got your brothers and sisters riding at your side.
The people on this train,
They’re the people of the book.
To know the mind of God that’s where you must look.
You can leave behind all the trouble and pain.
Don’t worry what people may say,
It doesn’t matter any-way.
When you’re riding, riding the Redemption Train.
V3. The driver on this train,
He’ll forget your past.
He’ll just say, “The
first shall be last”.
On this train that’ll
take you on,
Up around the bend,
On a ride, a ride that
will never end.
Leave behind all the
trouble and pain.
Don’t worry what people may say,
It doesn’t matter any-way.
When you riding, riding the
Redemption Train.
When you riding, riding the
Redemption Train.
When you riding, riding the
Redemption Train.
WASH
EACH OTHER’S FEET - Lyrics and music by Joel Smoker (Copyright: Joel Smoker)
V1. The day
was long and hot and they’d walked many a mile
Talking to
the crowds who’d followed for a while,
When Jesus
and his friends made camp for the night,
And found
some time to have themselves a meal.
He washed
them one by one.
Then taking
the towel that was wrapped around his waist,
He wiped a
way the dirt from their feet.
V2. He came
to Simon Peter and Peter said, “Not me”.
Jesus said,
“You do not under-stand,
If I cannot
wash your feet, you can’t be part of me”.
Simon said,
“Lord wash all of me”.
Lord wash
all of me,
And take
that towel you have wrapped around your waist,
And wipe
the dirt away from my life.
V3. When he
has washed their feet and taken his place,
Jesus said,
“Do you know what I have done?
If I your
Lord and teacher have washed your feet,
You also
should wash each other’s too”.
V4. “A new
command I give unto you,
That you
love one an-other, as I have loved you.
By this
shall all men know that you are my disciples,
If you have
love for each other.”
Wash them
one by one.
Then take
that towel that you have hanging behind your door,
And wipe
the dirt away from your feet.
CH. Yeah
take a bowl of water. Wash your head, your hands, your feet,
Wash them
one by one.
Then take
that towel that you have hanging behind your door,
And wipe
away the dirt from your life.
IN EXILE FROM THE KINGDOM - Words and music by Joel Smoker
V1. I’m in exile from the
Kingdom; I’m a stranger in the land
These are not my people,
I hope you under-stand.
My home is far a-way,
up-on another strand.
But this is where I choose to stay,
where I make my stand
Though storm clouds
gather round, by faith I can with-stand,
Every trial and
tribulation, every sorrow in this land,
Cause my name’s written
down in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
V2. There’s a call going out,
to all the folks a-bout
A call to walk the
straight path, the Truth you can-not doubt
For the wages of sin,
will surely lead to death
I’m
gonna stand with the righteous while I draw breath.
CH. Yeah I’m standing on the
Rock, and not upon the sand.
Though storm clouds
gather round, by faith I can with-stand,
Every trial and
tribulation, every sorrow in this land,
Cause my name’s written
down in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
V3. There’s a new day a
comin’, and they say it won’t be long,
When the people of the
world can sing the same song.
A song of peace and joy,
a song of harm-on-y.
If we want that day to dawn, then
it’s up to you and me.
Though storm clouds
gather round, by faith you can with-stand,
Every trial and
tribulation, every sorrow in this land,
If your name’s written
down in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
CH. Yeah stand on the
Rock, and not upon the sand.
Though storm clouds
gather round, by faith you can with-stand,
Every trial and
tribulation, every sorrow in this land,
If your name’s written
down in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
HEAVEN - Lyrics and music by Joel Smoker
V1. I’ve been told man-y things,
Been told there are angles that fly with wings.
Been told of a place be-yond the sky,
Where I’ll go when I die.
Is it a place on high or somewhere else?
Heaven, Heaven,
Is it where I’ll go when I die?
V2. I’ don’t know but I’ve been
told,
The streets of Heaven are paved with gold.
If I get there and it’s not the case,
You’ll know someone lied to my
face.
Is it a place on high or somewhere else?
Heaven, Heaven,
Are the streets of Heaven paved with gold?
V3. I’ve been told there’s a
place called hell,
A place so bad no tongue can tell.
Where sinners go who don’t con-fess,
Where it is I can only guess.
Is it a place be-low or somewhere else?
Hell, Hell,
Where it is I can only guess.
V4. When I look in-to my true
love’s eyes,
I seem very close to paradise
She pick’s me up when I’m feeling down,
Makes me think I’m Heaven bound.
Is it a place be-low or somewhere else?
Heaven, Heaven,
I’d like to think I’m heaven bound
V5. There’s places I’ve been
that seem like hell,
Where people scream and people yell.
There are places I know where I love to go
That seem like Heaven here be-low.
Is it a place on high or somewhere else?
Heaven, Heaven,
Is it a place below or somewhere else?
V6. I’ve been told man-y things,
Been told there are angles that fly with wings.
Been told of a place be-yond the sky,
Where I’ll go when I die.

SING PRAISE TO THE LORD - Words and music by Joel Smoker
V1. We are gathered here
together, to sing praise to the Lord.
We are gathered here
together, to hear his Holy Word.
Though He may convict of
sin and His truth cut like a sword,
We are gathered here
together, to worship the Lord.
Sing praise to Him, Sing
praise to the Lord.
V2. When the storms of life
come crashing down up-on our fragile shore,
And we think we’ve had
enough and can’t take any more,
We are called to serve
each other and to bear each other’s loads,
And if we all stand
together, we won’t stand a-lone.
Sing praise to Him, Sing
praise to the Lord.
V3. We are the family of God
and we walk in the Light,
It matters not our name
or if we are black or white.
In giving we receive, in
loving we live,
And with hands held
together, we stand on solid ground.
Sing praise to Him, Sing
praise to the Lord.
Sing praise to Him, Sing
praise to the Lord.
Sing praise to Him, Sing
praise to the Lord.
Sing praise to Him, Sing
praise to the Lord.
